There are two apiaries managed by our Beekeeper - on Apricity Farm & in Free Soil, MI.  In addition to making honey, creamed honey (cinnamon, lavender, & cardamon), and comb honey, the bees provide pollination services and bee management for sites seeking agriculture tax exemption. 

Lavender

The summer of 2025 launched the lavender venture, and we added over 400 more plants this year.   There are 6 different varieties Big Time Blue & Melissa, and hybrids Phenomenal & Grosso.  We are selling dried lavender at the Farmers Market and planning wreath making classes next year. 

Chocolate Covered Tart Cherries

The newest offering at Apricity Farm is dark chocolate covered tart cherries.  These are locally sources and made.  

Orchard

Apricity Farm has ~20 acres of production apples (Romes, Idared, Macintosh, Red Delicious) that are sold to Indian Summer for apple sauce and juice.   We also have ~12 acres of Montmorency tart cherries.   Daryl Peterson and his crew at Bushel Basket Orchards take care of the management and harvesting of the fruit.
